Climpact hereby informs all visitors to our website about the nature, scope and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process, in particular about data protection and the use of cookies on our website.

 

Data protection

Data protection and conscientious handling of data of all kinds have a very high priority for Climpact. The use of our website is generally possible without any indication of personal data. If a person contacts us, the storage of personal data is necessary (e.g. name, e-mail address or contact details). The use of personal data (names, contact details, etc.) is always in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and in compliance with the data protection provisions applicable to Switzerland. We assure that we will not use any personal data for purposes other than agreed (or for which we have not obtained the assurance). We will not pass on any data to third parties. We would like to point out that internet-based data transmissions generally have security gaps, so that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.

 

Use of cookies

Our website collects general data and information with every call. These are stored in the log files of our server. This data is not actively used or stored by us, but is deleted from our server after a certain period of time.

 

Our website uses cookies. These are used to make our website more user-friendly. Cookies are placed on the systems that access our website and stored in the Internet browser used.

 

Cookies usually remain stored on the end device until they are actively deleted. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. The handling of cookies can be set in the web browser used (e.g. can be informed about the setting of cookies, cookies can only be allowed in individual cases, the acceptance of cookies can be excluded for certain cases or in general as well as the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser can be permitted). If cookies are disabled, the functionality of our website may be limited under certain circumstances (e.g. delays in page loading).
